Riot fix wave of disconnects disturbing League of Legends EU server

League of Legends’ EU servers have taken a trifle of a scrap over the past number of months. Their players have endured web supplier hardware failures, battled bandwidth-strangling faulty circuits, and scuffling with serious latency problems that left this twitchiest of competitive multiplayer games muscle spasm altogether the incorrect places.

 

EUW was all patched up in time for Christmas - however its troubles began afresh with reports of disconnects a handful of days agone.

Riot became conscious of the reports on weekday. Realising the potential for widespread disconnects to unfold mayhem within the game’s competitive scene, the developers promptly disabled stratified play, and enabled their Loss bar protocol.
